Welcome to the Sewing Room
A large part of the Victorian day was spent doing handicrafts. Whether it be stitching a sampler at a very young age, or making a wall hanging from hair, the Victorian woman, girls and some boys were expert tailors, seamstresses and crafters.
Here, in the sewing room, you will find many supplies needed to create those wonderful items of your fancy.
I've recently included pieces and parts of a large lot of vintage bridal gowns. These pieces may be cut apart for use as appliques in paper crafts as well as sewing. Most have vintage lace and hand beading with pearls, sequins and beads of all shapes and sizes. All will add that little sparkle and bling that we love so much. |
